In summer 2025, we restored this neglected log cabin after years of exposure had left the logs faded, bleached, and grey. We began by removing old caulking and chinking, repairing damaged boards, and carefully masking windows before media blasting, a process that effectively removes failing stain and embedded contaminants while preserving the integrity of the wood.

After blasting, we sanded the logs smooth and applied three coats of premium Sashco stain, back-brushed for deep penetration and uniform color. The project concluded with a full cleanup, leaving the cabin vibrant, protected, and beautifully renewed.
