Background and Process
This home’s exterior siding had suffered years of sun, rain, snow, and wind, leaving it dry, discolored, cracked, and faded due to a previous lower-quality stain. We repaired damaged boards and masked all windows before media blasting the siding, a process that gently removes old stain, dirt, and surface imperfections while preserving the natural wood.
After sanding the siding smooth, we applied three coats of premium Sashco stain, back-brushed for deep, even penetration and long-lasting protection. Finally, we cut out all the old caulk and recaulked every seam and crack, ensuring the siding is fully sealed and protected against the elements. The result is vibrant, uniform siding that restores the home’s natural beauty and safeguards it for years to come.
